The photograph above is an example of switchgear designed for rapid transit applications, CP offers a full range of switchgear for systems rated from 250 VDC through 1500 VDC, with breakers available rated 800A through 12,000A. Breakers and switchgear are both manufactured at our facility in Massillon, Ohio. Beakers offered can either be standard speed, semi-high speed, or high speed design depending on the application. Rectifier substations have been supplied with ratings from 300kW to 3000kW. CP is willing to assist in the design, estimation, and layout of DC switchgear or rectifier substations.
