Public Service Electric & Gas, Newark, New Jersey: Federal Square Substation- PSE&G undertook building a new substation in downtown Newark, NJ that would support a large portion of the infrastructure of this city that is going through a renaissance period of downtown revitalization.Being a fast track job, the order was placed on August 13, 1999, with a required ship date of mid-February, 2000. |
The equipment
included three (3) 70 foot long by 14 foot wide PCC's with 15
kV switchgear and twenty-one (21) 17 foot long by 8 foot voltage
regulator/current limiting reactor portable skids with interconnecting
by-pass switching equipment. CP completed this project on schedule.
